COVID-19 Update:

UPDATE TO CONTACTLESS ADMITTANCE/CHECKOUT AND SALES,
TEMPORARY REDUCTION OF HOURS

In a continued effort to keep both our valued clients and dedicated staff safe, we are implementing contactless client admittance and checkout, as well as contactless food/medication pickup. Please be assured that we are here for you and your pet, and we thank-you for working with us to keep everyone safe during these challenging times. We will continue to closely monitor directions put out by public health authorities and the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association to ensure we are providing you and your pet with the utmost care.

PATIENT ADMITTANCE AND CHECKOUT

For everyone’s safety during the pandemic, we’ve moved to contactless client admittance and checkout. This means your pet will be seen by the veterinarian while you wait in the comfort of your vehicle or outside of the office, thus limiting contact between yourselves and the public/our staff members.

• Upon arrival at the clinic please remain in your vehicle or outside, and give us a call at (780)-756-8555.
• We will check you in over the phone and have a staff member meet you at your vehicle or outside to bring your pet into the facility for the appointment.
  • Please have cats in a secure carrier, so they can be safely carried into the clinic.
  • We will use our own leashes for dogs.
  • All accessories, (kennels etc.) will be safely disinfected before return.
• Surgery consent forms will be emailed to you ahead of time to be completed and dropped off with your pet, or emailed to us ahead of time. Hospital and surgery discharges can be done over the phone before you pick up your pet.
• Payment will be collected over the phone or the tap machine will be brought out to you.
• If you believe you need to be in the clinic for your pet’s appointment, please discuss the request with the attending veterinarian or clinic management ahead of time.

FOOD/MEDICATION PICKUP

• If you are at the clinic to pick up food or medication, please remain in your vehicle or outside the clinic and call the front desk. We will deliver your order to you as quickly as possible. If you are in a vehicle, please have the trunk open so consumables can be dropped in.

If you have been traveling outside of the country in the last 2 weeks, or if you are ill or have had contact with someone who has COVID-19, please ask a friend or family member to bring your pet.
