COVID-19 update

New procedures effective immediately:

  • We are instituting curbside pickup for consumables (food, meds). When you arrive at the clinic please give us a call, (780) 756-8555, and we will bring the products to your car with a tap machine for a no contact payment. Please, when possible, have your door or trunk open so we can drop the consumables in.
  • We are not booking routine appointments such as annual vaccinations, at this time. Routine appointments will commence once recommended by the Alberta Government and the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • We are still booking puppy and kitten vaccines, as well as pets getting their first “annual” vaccine, as they are at higher risk of contracting a disease than an older pet who has had the full set of vaccinations, more than 2 years in a row. Older pets should be okay to wait a few weeks to a few months.
  • If you have other concerns to be addressed, (eg. ear infection, illness, pain, etc.) we will see the pet. The only time we usually would defer to April booking, is a healthy pet for annual vaccines, where there are no other concerns.
  • Surgery will be assessed on a case by case basis.
  • Surgery consent forms will be emailed to you ahead of time to be completed and dropped off with your pet. Hospital and surgery discharges can be done over the phone before you pick up your pet.
  • To provide social distancing, we will book 1 appointment every 45 minutes.
  • If you have been traveling outside of the country in the last 2 weeks, or if you are ill or have had contact with someone who has COVID-19 – please do not come in and have someone else bring your pet. If this is not an option and your pet needs to be seen, we may be able to offer a car transfer of the pet so you do not come into the clinic.

Thank you for your understand during this difficult time. We will continue to do whatever we can to support you with your pet needs.

Stay well.

What Our Clients Say About Us

  • Best veterinary in Edmonton! After 14+ years of struggling to find the right vet clinic, we finally found one we are comfortable taking our fur babies to. The staff is very friendly, Dr. Foster is gentle and doesn’t force unnecessary procedures/medicine. We are so happy with them.

    Jolene E
  • Dr. Foster has always been fantastic with my kitty and the foster kittens I bring in. He spends time with you going through everything and even follows up in a few days. He truly cares about the wellbeing of your animals. The best Edmonton vet that I have been to by far!

    Holly A
  • As a volunteer with an animal rescue group, I have worked with Dr. Travis Foster and his veterinary team with three of my foster kittens, and they are always professional, patient and compassionate. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!
